I only wish the
Leslie Dame Solid Hardwood Multimedia Storage Cabinet were a little sturdier in the "doors" since the doors carry so much weight. Very attractive, the back is not cardboard but thin wood. Rich color, strong hinges, pre built is great - only had to add shelves. Looks good in room - more like a piece of furniture and not a shelf.
Glad I bought two. A couple of hinge screws were not in straight but did not affect function. Light and easy to move. Great packaging. Lots of CDs and videos. Feels lighter than pine. We bought this model also because it was advertised as solid wood. Most of my other solid wood furniture I fully expect to pass on to my children. It's outside design is great.

The shelving design inside is flexible so you may use it to hold CDs, DVDs, Videos, including those "non-standard sized special edition sets" if you like. It's durable. I've bought six of these and placed two in 3 of the rooms in my house, each of which have different furniture/spacing availability and I've found that these are the right overall size for all of my conditions.
I was so fed up with all these cheap build-it yourself cabinets that would fall apart and the doors not open and close properly. After extensive research I found this
Leslie Dame CD-612B Solid Hardwood Multimedia Storage Cabinet with Classic Mission Doors, and it is a keeper for sure. Solid, firm construction. I guess my review is going to be short because I can't really say anything negative about this cabinet. If you are looking for a solid DVD cabinet, this one is well worth the price.
