Pleasant Hearth GR-7202 Grandoir Fireplace Glass Door Antique Brass

Classy and elegant. Pleasant Hearth GR-7202 Grandoir Fireplace Glass Door, Antique Brass makes our living room look like a million bucks! I've looked at many fireplace doors that cost as much as three to four times more than these but were not the quality of the Pleasant Hearth. The quality of this fireplace door is a great improvement over the one it replaced.

The beveled glass is lovely and really adds to the look. The bi-fold glass doors open & close easily and the magnet on both the glass doors and the screen doors are a real plus, so easy to open & close, nice for cleaning.
  • Large size dimensions: 36-43-Inch width of firebox opening and 22.5-32.5-Inch height of firebox opening, with 43.5-33-Inch overall frame dimensions.
  • Antique Brass Finish with Beveled Glass
  • Premium/Fine Mesh Panel
  • Bi-fold bay style doors
  • 4-Inch"easy grip" handles
The color is a little dark but from my last door, I can tell you, soot looks pretty dirty on any bright metal, brass. I had to make some slight modifications on the clamps but was able to put it together and mount the door frame with little effort. The quality of this product is comparable to much more expensive doors I looked at in local stores.

This Pleasant Hearth GR-7202 Grandoir Fireplace Glass Door, Antique Brass will not go anywhere until the house burns down. It looks damn good on our fireplace. I like it, the kids like it and the wife likes it. Yeah, a keeper. Good luck. Peace. There was enough insulation to stuff around the metal frame. I think the purpose of the insulation is to protect the metal from extreme heat.

A Fireplace Glass Door assists in reducing heat loss or cool air loss up the chimney by as much as 90 percent. Heat could discolor the metal finish. As far as the quality goes, the product was made very well. The beveled glass is very classy looking. The door looks much more expensive than it is.
